Where exactly is Rocket Desks located?
We are based within the Rocket Languages office in Unit 12-987 Ferry Road, Ferrymead, Christchurch. It’s a professional, established environment with stunning views of the Port Hills and a culture of global success.
What are your access hours?
You can access the office between 7:30am and 5pm Monday to Friday.
Can I take private calls or host meetings?
Absolutely. We have creative breakout spaces for casual chats and a professional meeting room available for free. For deep focus, we maintain dedicated Quiet Zones where phone calls are discouraged to respect your fellow "pilots."
What comes with my desk?
You get a high-quality sit-stand desk, a professional ergonomic chair, fibre internet access, and plenty of power outlets. Just bring your laptop and you’re ready for launch.
Is there a printer available?
Yes. You will have access to our on-site printing and scanning facilities for any mission-critical paperwork (as long as you don’t overdo it).
What’s the coffee situation?
Fuel is essential. We provide Nespresso coffee and a selection of teas free of charge. For the best espresso coffee in the area, visit Hamish at Dispense (3 minute walk).
Is there a kitchen?
Yes. Our fully-equipped kitchen includes a fridge/freezer, microwave, toasted sandwich maker, utensils, and plenty of prep space for your lunch.
Do you have showers or end-of-trip facilities?
While we have secure bike racks for commuters, we do not have on-site shower facilities. We do, however, have full climate control (air-conditioning) to keep you fresh throughout the day!
Do I have to sign a long-term contract?
No. We believe in total flexibility. All our plans are "no-strings-attached."
Can I try it out before I commit?
We’d love to have you. Contact us for a tour, or grab a Day Flight pass for just $35 to test the Wi-Fi, the chairs, and the views. We’re confident you won’t want to leave.
